The right path.

Thanks to Ubisoft we were in Persia with Sargon and his friends the Immortals. And here I am to tell you how fabulous this trip has been.

Development:

In Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, we reincarnate as Sargon, one of the immortals at the service of the kingdom of Persia. After a fierce battle defending the kingdom from an invasion, we learn that the prince of Persia has been kidnapped by a traitor “Anahita.” Thus Sargon and the immortals leave for Mount Qaf where we will find many sinister places and enemies.

The game is a full-fledged Metroidvania, with RPG and action elements. In this platform game itself, we will have a map and a large number of places to visit, many of which to access we will have to defeat powerful bosses and thus acquire new skills that will allow us to reach new places to unlock new areas. That’s what a Metroidvania is in a nutshell.

Sargon will have an immense range of powers and abilities, not only will he be able to defend himself with his shield and sabers, later we will also find a bow with which we will solve puzzles or puzzles, and as if this were not enough we will have talismans with different characteristics such as increasing our life, defense and attack.

We can improve talismans like weapons with time crystals in a forge, this will allow us to do more damage or protect ourselves more depending on the use of each object, of course there will be a huge store to acquire new objects and improvements as well.

Creativity and fun guaranteed:

The creativity of the game does not waver at all, and does not remain with the main characters only, but the enemies are not repetitive, they are divided into a pattern by area, whether zombies for example in the lower city, or shamans in the forest.

In the game and the adventure of Sargon the hours will fly by as the game invites you to do just that, continuous and unlimited fun.

Impressive bosses, with moderate difficulty, creative and unique.

Graphics and Optimization.

At Tripton Games we played it on PC, and the optimization was at the time of day as the official requirements promised, there were no lies, with a mid-range PC we did not suffer FPS drops and we played it in Ultra at a 4K resolution without no type of landfall.

The graphics are very correct, simple perhaps, but for this type of game they go hand in hand, since when the camera is in 2D we do not need ultra-realistic graphics.

Secrets and things to unlock.

The game is full of secrets and things to unlock, even post-game things but that’s up to you, I’ll just say that what should be there is there.

That I did not like.

It was the fast travel around the map that in my experience I think could have been implemented in a better way, since it forces the player to travel through several areas more than three times (especially in the first hours).

Conclusion:

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is a must-see game whether you play it on any of the available platforms, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Series S/X, PS4/PS5 or PC, an unforgettable adventure.
